Originally No Matters Yutang Lin

Walls fade away, acts disappear;
Why need to keep solitude in escape?
Easy countenance, wide spread heart;
When has contribution to the Dharma ever stop?

Comment:

"Originally no matters" means that the mind originally was free from self-imposed walls and calculations, and is naturally tranquil, harmonious, and joyful. In the original innocent state of mind, all sentient beings are as close as one family. Stemming from the feeling of being in one family with all beings, one engages in the propagation of Buddhist teachings and practices without stopping or resting, and yet does not feel that it is too much matters.
