On Boxes　Yutang Lin

Made of solid stuff to serve as useful things,
Being empty inside to accommodate others,
Model for Dharma instrument readily found,
Be self-sacrificing to benefit others likewise.

Comment:

Outward it is solid; inward it is spacious. For a box to serve as a container, its inside must be emptied first. Models for Dharma instruments are readily found in our daily life.
