爱人当从损边施，奈何劝谏耳边风；
置啄枉费反招怨，法界课程任选修。

Elective Courses　Yutang Lin

Love should be given through opposing;
Alas! Words taken as wind passing ears.
Vainly spoken just to invite resentments.
Courses in Dharmadhatu are all elective.

Comment:

Guru Chen often said, "Love for others should be given through the opposing side." Nevertheless, there are few in the world that can listen to advice. Repeated suggestions are not followed; under such circumstances further comments would only invite resentments. In the University of Dharmadhatu courses vary to great extent; just let each and every one elect their own courses, then there would be no vain arguments.
