俗务何以难舍离？总因妄计图长远；
认清随时近临终，只管率真无余事。

Free from Worldliness　Yutang Lin

Why are worldly matters difficult to give up?
Mostly due to illusive long-term projections.
Recognizing this moment as end of life near,
Just be pure and truthful to oneself; that's all.

Comment:

Ordinarily people live in long-term projections. When reflected much later, many plans would then realized to be illusive or deluded. If one could recognize the fact that at any moment and any place one is indeed not far from end of life, then it would be much easier to live a life that is truthful to oneself and is free from worldly entanglements.
