忍过一时宁受欺，长远着眼得便宜；
唯恐积怨难消弭，平白余生陷纠结。

Tolerate through　Yutang Lin

Willingly tolerate temporary insults and trespassing;
In the long run real benefits gained through this way.
Lest animosity accumulated be difficult to evaporate,
Unwittingly the rest of life snared into entanglement.

Comment:

ven though being infringed upon is obvious, refrain from fighting back. When viewed in the long run, freedom from trivial hassles is more valuable. Grasping to hostility to engage in mutual revenges means endless sorrows and worries. Tolerate through transient matters, the rest of life would be easier with less to worry about.
