世间心未死，佛芽难出头；
欲达真证悟，惜时离俗缘！

光阴不停逝，随去无可追。俗缘未断绝，牵缠身与心。佛芽得茁长，犹赖绵延行。守寂奋勉修，久后得证真。

Away from Worldly Tangles Yutang Lin
Worldly inclinations have not yet died out,
Buddha sprouts could hardly spring forth.
To attain solid realization of enlightenment
Treasure time and stay away from tangles.
Comment:
Time incessantly passed, and as it passed there is no way to bring it back. While worldly tangles have not been severed both body and mind are pulled and bound. Whether Buddha sprouts can spring forth and grow, it all depends on continuous cultivation and practice. Remain in solitude to engage in Dharma practices and activities diligently so that in the long run real attainment of enlightenment will be feasible.
