Gratitude Due to All Beings　Yutang Lin

Favors and offenses among individuals could hardly be sorted out clearly.
To repay kindness or retaliate injuries bit by bit would be an endless chore.
Once gratitude due to all beings is fully comprehended and appreciated,
Contributions made on the Dharma path as repayment will be boundless.

Comment:

It is difficult to sort out the tangles of favors and offenses among individuals. When one is trapped in retribution there will be no end to such cycles. The peace of this moment is due to the grace of all beings. Advance on the path of awakening, and the repayment will be boundless.
