过犹不及恰好难，胸有成竹迁就罕；
识情达理磨炼来，面面俱到造作离。

Just Right　Yutang Lin

Overdone is as good as not enough, to be just right is difficult.
With fixed ideas in mind there is seldom any accommodation.
Recognizing feelings and abiding by reasons are born of trials.
All round approaches attained when artificial endeavors cease.

Comments:

Behaving appropriately is never an easy matter.
Grasping to fixed views causes much distortion.
Only through long experiences maturity gained.
Naturally perfect in the absence of predilection.
