为什么呢
轻易随喜的多
真诚奉献的少
滞于世情的多
决然出离的少
会谈佛法的多
了达法义的少
以己为重的多
心在众生的少
口说无我的多
真要去执的少
心情起伏的多
长远平定的少
着相计较的多
超出格局的少
学佛的不少
能成为法器的太少
大概就是这一类原由吧
成器不成器 还得当人自择呢

Becoming a Dharma Instrument Yutang Lin
Not few are practicing Dharma
Too few can become a Dharma instrument
Why is it so
Many are those who casually give approvals
Few are those who sincerely dedicate their lives
Many are those who remain stagnant in worldly considerations
Few are those who determinedly renounce worldly engagements
Many are those who can talk about Dharma
Few are those who comprehended the essences
Many are those who emphasize on self-interests
Few are those who set their minds on all beings
Many are those who mention "selfless" in speeches
Few are those who indeed attempt to rid of grasping
Many are those who float up and down with moods
Few are those who remain calm and constant for the long run
Many are those who react to and are disturbed by trifling
Few are those who raise their heads above the currents
Not few are practicing Dharma
Too few can become a Dharma instrument
In general, these are the types of causal reasons
Becoming a Dharma instrument or not
It all depends on each one's own choices
