任彼來去無從計,風雲聚散隨時異;

Let Others Be Yutang Lin

Let others come and go freely without haggle;
Winds and clouds gather and disperse in time.
Hot or cool situations vary with self-interests.
Clear spring gushes just to nourish Bodhicitta.

Comment:

Social visits and gatherings, warm or cold receptions, all vary with self-interests. Not to mention the suffering of endless comparisons and haggles involved therein. Entering contact with others only through explaining Dharma teachings and engaging in Dharma practices would free all involved from considerations of joining or leaving, warm or cold receptions. Let others be free in whatever they choose to change into, and our Dharma path would remain warm and harmonious as always.
