Losing All at Once Yutang Lin

Losing all at once is sure to happen;
How many have reckoned with this?
Awakened to no excessive hoarding,
Transient matters why bother to stir?

Comment:

Life's expectations vary with individuals. Seldom seen are people who reckon with the sudden loss of everything. If one could see through that death is inevitable, any planning and goal should have taken it into consideration. Eventually all will change hands; don't just dive into accumulating and hoarding. Constantly remain mindful of impermanence, and refrain from stirring up dusts so that all around would have an easier time.
