認定對頭急爭勝,千方百計圖快意;

What's the Hurry? Yutang Lin

Recognize opponents and hurry to win supremacy,
Using thousands of means to plot a willful ending.
Calamities and tragedies could hardly be deferred;
Sooner or later, senility, diseases and death arrive.

Comment:

All sorts of antagonism are abundant in the world. People work diligently to plot for victory and supremacy, even at the expense of the extinction of the opponents. If one could widen the vista to the whole Dharmadhatu, then it would become obvious that sentient beings could hardly escape from all sorts of hardship and suffering. Why need to make the extra efforts in competing to add sorrows to one another?
