側侍度母披金鎧;

Green Tara in Gold Armor

Yutang Lin

In front of Amitabha Buddha I knelt to receive blessing
Green Tara in his attendance wore a stylish gold armor
Don't use worldly mind to try figuring holy spheres out
Inspirational responses from Buddhas are beyond imagination

Comments:

Once in a dream I knelt on the floor in front of Amitabha Buddha, who was standing on an altar table, to receive his blessing. Amitabha Buddha turned the fingers of his right hand around in front of his chest to bestow blessings. To his left-hand side there was Green Tara in sitting posture with her size only half of that of the Buddha. Green Tara wore a stylish gold armor that surrounds her upper body without covering the upper part of her chest. Among the twenty-one Taras there is one of wrathful form. Nevertheless, I had never seen an image of Green Tara wearing something other than the traditional heavenly silk garment. Buddhas are originally boundless; and their transformations in inspirational responses to sentient beings' pleadings are forever endless. This inspirational event serves rightly to remind us that one should not employ worldly thinking to figure matters of the transcendental realms.
