Out of Entanglement

Yutang Lin

Lingering thoughts cycling hundred rounds only inflict pain on oneself;
Reasons and arguments hard to communicate, vainly accumulate despair.
Youthful years are apt to pass, thus it is only prudent to awake earlier;
Be careful to stay away from muddy swamps so as not to sink entangled.
Maturity of conditions and causes is a matter of time and seasons;
Each will reap fruits due but not as results of argument or competition.
Nothing is not tolerated, then grasping will gradually fade away;
With only one mind to benefit all, cultivate delightful harmony.
