One continues without breaks until right fruits attained;
Interference by hindrances would result in deformities;
Erosions and contagious diseases bring decay speedily.
Land or mind, its cultivation is similar in these aspects.

Comment:

To obtain nice fruits one needs to be diligent in removing hindrances and watchful in preventing erosions and diseases so that the process of natural growth is continuous without breaks. Cultivation of mind through Dharma practices is similar in these respects. May Buddhists who understood already the need to engage in serious practices ponder over this similarity and thereby learn about what to watch out against and where to add more efforts!
