Anticipation

Yutang Lin

How prismatic are colorful clouds at the edge of sky;
Their duration and transition are beyond our wishes.
Regarding them as substantial would be delusive,
Anticipation about future would be similar to this.

Comments:

Right now it is difficult to be at ease only because entanglements are hard to let go while deliberation never ceases. What were in the past are gone, what could you do about them? What will come could hardly be expected, why anticipating? Only if one were able to recognize delusions and illusions, and cease associative conjecturing, could one enjoy moments of clarity and tranquility.
